Sylvia serves the church in administrative support for Children’s ministry and Women's Bible Studies. She also co-creates GW’s website, along with John Ruchak. Sylvia has a desire to see the arts continually restored in the church.
Sylvia first met Jesus while attending a Christian school at the age of 6. She then participated in Sunday School and with child-like faith believed the incredible stories of the Bible. When Sylvia was 19 years old, she had a life-transforming encounter with the Holy Spirit.
Because of this early exposure to the Christian faith, Sylvia, prioritizes teaching children about the Bible, salvation through Jesus Christ, and what the scriptures teach about the importance of worship; while also learning that church is a fun and happy place to be on Sunday morning!
Sylvia has ministered in Russia; and with her husband Pastor Steve, in Germany and Austria. She also toured Israel with a Davidic dance team in 2005 and 2007. Currently Sylvia is serving as HarvestNet Ministries Administrator for Israel Tours.
